Our under 8 panel had a great day out in Springfield on Saturday 28^th of April when they took part in a blitz. Mullingar Shamrocks and Milltownpass were the other teams involved and by all accounts our lads acquitted themselves very well. The mentors looking after this panel are John Cassidy, Oliver Reynolds, Sean Claffey and Paddy Corcoran.

Under 8

Our under 8 team played their third blitz of the year last Friday evening in Lakepoint Park. We fielded two teams and both of them played St. Lomans and Ballynacargy, putting in great performances in both games to maintain their 100% unbeaten record this year.

Team 1: Conor O Malley, Jack Fitzpatrick, Killian Bolger, Killian Jackson, Warwick Kirby, Ryan Boyne, Adam Cassidy.

Team 2: Peter Reynolds, Philip Reynolds, Peter Murphy, Cody Finnane, Eaibhe Cassidy, Stephen Doran, Odhran Gavigan, Shane Corcoran.

Under 10

Our under 10's enjoyed numerous games over the past few weeks with matches against Multyfarnham, Rosemount and Athlone .

Our Under 8s and 10s entertained The Downs on Saturday 26th June in Castletown where the large crowd present were treated to an exciting morning’s football.

Under 10s v Caulry

On a glorious Sunday morning Caulry were the visitors to Castletown with two under 10 teams which took on the locals in two very entertaining games that had the large crowd enthralled with the skill of these young players from both sides. The names of the panel members will be added shortly

Our Under 8 and Under 10 panels had a very busy Summer with the Club coaching programme very active and a number of summer camps taking place over the school holidays. Both teams played in tournaments and friendly games against local clubs.

Our Under 10s are eagerly awaiting the Under 10 Blitz which will be held in a Mullingar venue, possibly on Saturday 5th September.
Team mentors David Farrell and Christy Maloney are delighted with their young team who recorded good victories over Shandonagh, Mullingar Shamrocks, The Downs, Ballynacargy and St. Lomans during the Summer.
